The Salem Airport and the Salem Urban Development Department are developing 70 acres at the south end of the Airport for corporate hangers, aviation and non-aviation related businesses. This area will be developed in three Phases. Phases 1 and 2 consist of 55 acres with access to taxiways and runways. Phase 1 will be devoted to corporate hangars and Phase II will be devoted to aviation related businesses. Phase III cosists of 15 acres and is seperated by Airway drive. This area will not have access to taxiways or runways. Phase I development has already begun. Phases 2 and 3 wll be developed in the future.
